The IAEA has developed a comprehensive curriculum for e‑ learning on Spent Fuel and Radioactive Waste Management, Decommissioning and Environmental Remediation. This curriculum offers a range of courses, covering topics such as Policies, Strategies and Prerequisites, Safety Case Development, Spent Fuel Management, Fundamentals of Radioactive Waste Disposal, Radioactive Waste Management and Decommissioning and Environmental Remediation and many more.
The courses range from beginner to intermediate level and are aimed at public servants, government officials, students, young professionals, and the public.
The lectures are interactive and many modules are available in Spanish, French, Russian and Japanese. Each course includes a self-assessment segment, and an IAEA certificate may be downloaded upon completion of the course.
